She is a member of several writing and publishing groups, including the Independent Book Publishers Association, the Bay Area Independent Book Publishers Association, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and the Alliance of Independent Authors.

She is an associate member of the National Speakers Association, an organization of over 3500 members in the United States.
